Each year the Canton Community Fund benefits from the support and ideas of college-age interns who help with events, social media, and a variety of tasks. Our most recent are pictured below.

Diandra Nicholas 2013-2014

The Canton Community Fund’s 2013-14 intern, Diandra Nicholas, is a junior at St. Lawrence University. A resident of the Bronx, New York, she is a multi-language major, concentrating in Spanish, Arabic and Chinese. She lives in the HOPE (Helping Out People Everywhere) theme house at St. Lawrence.

Shaneequa Castle 2012-2013

CCF intern Shaneequa Castle, a member of the St. Lawrence University Class of 2012 from Upper Marlboro, Md. A performance and communication arts and sociology double major, she founded the HOPE (Helping Out People Everywhere) theme house at St. Lawrence, and received a grant to study Caribbean dance. Upon graduating from St. Lawrence, she enrolled in a Ph.D. program in sociology at Florida International University.
